Can I use Viroklenz Bio-Cleanser in the presence of humans or animals?
For areas of heavy contamination we recommend that the area being treated is empty, however smaller surfaces can be cleaned in the presence of humans and animals. We suggest that the area is sprayed with a Viroklenz Trigger Spray and wiped with a clean cloth or by using Viroklenz wipes.

How do I know that the product is safe for me to use?
Both the Viroklenz™ animal range and Avian Viroklenz™ have been extensively tested in independent laboratories throughout the world and have been proven effective against a huge range of pathogens. MSDS sheets are available for all of our products.

Are there any differences between products in the Viroklenz range?
The Viroklenz™ animal range with the exception of Avian Viroklenz are all bio-cleansers from the same base and work by destroying the whole organism in one hit. The actual time taken to kill the bacteria or virus will depend on type. Avian Viroklenz ™ is a skin safe, fast acting biocide to which resistance is impossible yet is perfectly safe when used in the presence of humans, animals and birds. It will kill the H5N1 strain of Bird Flu instantly.

Do I have to dilute the product before I use it?
No, the Viroklenz™ animal range and Avian Viroklenz in trigger sprays are ready to use and need no dilution.

How long does it take for treatment to be effective?
In the majority of cases laboratory tests show that the product will work within seconds of application, however in field conditions we suggest that a one minute exposure will be more than adequate to eradicate most pathogens.

After treatment how long does the product remain effective?
This is a very difficult question to answer as there is no way of knowing exactly what the product is going to come up against, however assuming that after the initial treatment the area concerned is clean then a residual time of several days can reasonably be expected.

What is the best method of applying the product?
There are three main application methods; fogging, for covering large areas quickly and effectively, trigger spray, for smaller areas and wipes for spot or hard surface disinfection. To disinfect areas of heavy contamination use Viroklenz Super Strength and dilute as instructed on the container.

When using a fogger do I have to use any protective clothing?
When fogging we strongly recommend the user wear a disposable suit, goggles and a respirator fitted with an organic vapour filter, no special protection is required when using a trigger spray or wipes.

How often do I have to apply the product?
That all depends on the particular problem, if there is no active pathogen present then a light wipe down on a regular basis will be adequate as a preventative measure. If pathogenic problems have been identified then a strict fogging or spraying plan should be put into force possibly using professional contractors to carry this out.

How long will the product last after it has been opened?
The Viroklenz range of products have a shelf life of approximately two years and as long as they are stored properly.

How should the products be stored?
In all cases we recommend a cool dark place as being the optimum, it is essential that the product is not subjected to extremes of temperature or high levels of sunlight.

How is Viroklenz packaged?
The Viroklenz range comes in 1 litre trigger sprays. Larger containers are available on request in 2 litres, 5 litres and 25 litre bulk packs.

Will I get a discount if I buy in bulk?

Is there any minimum quantity I have to order?
